    morph image contest

you can take two images and morph them together. you can write the code to do so or use a free program that you downloaded. lets see what you can come up with. post the code if you write it. code and images judged separately. images to be posted also. anything goes. xmas fun.

A quick digression: It doesn't look like the given example was 100% programatically done, otherwise the result's eyes would be lower, with a bigger forehead, and a couple other deviations that look like they would only have been done by an actual person.

totally agree. some of the program that i have seen just merge two images together but there is no true morphing or calculations going on . it was an image that i liked. can not believe the price some of the programs are charging that do not even do a true morph. have a book on morphing that says outlineing the image then morph. thinking of letting the contest run till feb or the end of feb. meow.

a lot of times i see these "morph" that do NOT do a real morph. which is why the contest. these other programs just merge images together without actually morphing. the first example is of this. what i am surprised by is the fact that they are charging money for the programs that do not do what they claim they are supposed to do. this program cost $36 and does not do a real morph. it however does align the images. how can i tell ? look at the ghost ears. there is no shape morph calculations. it did the example that the bottom. now if you look to the far right image you see a green figure that combine the sphere and the cube both in shape and color. hence the contest to educate and have fun.
