    error msg

    i am trying to run a program and this is the msg that I get
    Run-Time Check Failure #2 - Stack around the variable 'amount' was corrupted.
    what does it mean?

    It means that you wrote beyond the allocated memory for the variable.
    If you post the code, we can help determine where the problem lies.
