    I dont know what you mean by that, I tried (1.0/2.0) like I did above when I multiplied, and it gave me the same error....

    Look at the code I quoted (which, conveniently, is also the lines pointed out by your compiler). Why do you think that

    is all of a sudden not a function call, but an implicit multiplication by .5?
