    Getting input

    I was not able to enter more than 128 characters in the output screen without hitting enter button. i want to enter number of lines without hitting enter.

    Windows xp. Am using Borlandc

    In XP the limit is about 8K

    If you're using fossil software like command.com, and a 16 bit DOS compiler, then your limit is 128 characters.
    Yet another reason to leave the past behind.
    If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
