Currently I am taking a course in S/w Testing, V&V, and have to test a C program which has not been coded by the Tester(me). The LOC, the ATAC and CASRE tool are the specified requirements - hence the interest!

There are a lot of open source projects around. Perhaps it is useful to check out such a project and apply your tests on it.

By the way, what kind of test methods are you applying? Do you apply formal (mathematical) methods?
I didn't know that the LOC is still used. For work I've done some research on software complexity, Halstead and McCabe, it was quite interesting. While researching people told me that LOC is not very valuable anymore.
