any C/C++ learning resource for vxworks platform?

    Hello everyone,

I am interested in learning a real-time OS -- vxworks and I would like to make my hands dirty to develop some applications. Does anyone know where to find resources about develop C/C++ application on vxworks platform -- forums, tutorials or documentations?

I can not found any comprehensive technical document from vxworks web site, also not any forums/mail lists they host.

    regards,
    George

I'm not familiar with vxworks, but all the "standard" C stuff should still work. Was there something in particular you were hoping to learn?
If you understand what you're doing, you're not learning anything.

VxWorks is a commercial operation, so if you hand over enough $$$, then you'll get whatever you want.

Have you shelled out on some hardware to run it on when you've got it?

If you thought a segfault on a PC was hard to track down, try it on an embedded platform without any memory protection at all.

If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

    7. It is easier to write an incorrect program than understand a correct one.
    40. There are two ways to write error-free programs; only the third one works.*
