Hey guys just wondering what are some initial steps to automatically generate a variable id say it would be a string that is in the format of

c1111
c2222
c3333

something like that where the first character is always a c then the numbers are randomized

I just need some phedocode steps please i dont know where to start?

1 - create a buffer
2 - sprintf a 'c' and a random number onto it
3 - celebrate with a cold beer
