Hello I recently started learning C and am wondering if it is possible to create GUI programs with C or windows applications? I've been trying very hard to find an answer on-line without butresults. The only thing I end up with is C# of Visual ++. Thank you for your help in advance.

Yes, you can create windows applications. You can find some good tutorials on how to do this at winprog.org or you can buy the book Programming Windows 5th ed by Charles Petzold.
