Is it just me, or people who like programming are not really interested in playing games? I've noticed how sometimes I prefer to just read a book about programming or program something rather than playing a game.

I'm not a huge gaming freak, but I do like to play them when I'm not really busy. But I think some programmers view them as a waste of time when they could be programming, or that they themselves could write better games.
