Thread: pasword app

Since im using win98 and the sucurity on it sux i was thinking of making a simple password app.

I would change my autoex bat file so that this app loads before windows does...

Could it be that the app wont run because windos isnt loaded yet.... Cause im coding this app (console app) in win98 on BC 4.52 .

Btw is there any way i can make sure that if the correct pasword isnt entered ,thus forcing the user to shut down the comp, i dont damage any files and that on the next boot of win98 the hard drive scan app doesnt load ?

True, but it would be cooler if i made it myself but hell ill just try it out and if something goes wrong i just format.... ( ill try it on my old pentium 1).
