    the value of pie

    Can anyone tell me the value of pi to the nearest thousandth of a second.....

    thousandth of a second? that doesn't make sense.....

    pi = 3.1415926535897932384626433832795 that's what my calculator in Windows says anyway.

    ok I am sorry I meant to the thousandth... For some reason I was thinking time when I wrote this....

    3.142, to give it "to the thousandth." However, use at least 3.14159

    What kind of pie? Some flavours are tastier than others, and as such, have a higher value. Of course, what tastes better is subjective...

    it's actually not that difficult to prove that it's accurate.

    4-4/3+4/5-4/7+4/9... is one way to do it, but there are better ways. If you're interested in it, I direct you to Google for more information than you're likely to ever want.
