good free ide for borland

What is a better IDE for the free Borland command-line tools than VIDE? Right now I'm using VIDE v1.24 and it seems to crash alot. Especially when I have unsaved work.

I've never used VIDE but editplus is really nice, it's a text editor for several different languages, however it is shareware.
Check it out http://www.editplus.com/

There's been a few threads on this before, try a search and see what you find.

Personally, I use this http://www.ultraedit.com
When all else fails, read the instructions.
If you're posting code, use code tags:
/* insert code here */
There is TextPad too, I saw once I think Salem wrote about this editor, I downloaded and it's really nice, and good too, but's shareware.
