    Unhappy fopen();

    oke i now ive posted a thread like this before but then i used system(); and now i usefopen(); the problem is again the same
    it works perfectly on my comp but on any other comp it wont work ..... does this has to do with the difference in os between my comp and another comp ....=>righto then i maybe dont do fclose but as far as i know this thing works on my comp

    That code doesn't make sense. You have a = in front of fopen(), and you never close the files when the program ends.

    whaaaaaaaaaaaa........ hold a second, how does that not make sense? Please tell me ONE SITUATION EVER where you will not have an equal sign in front of fopen ().

    Also, you may want to deal with the cases when the file fails to open, and close the file when done:

    I get two empty files created which is what I would have expected.

    Is this an example of a program which works on your machine, but not on another?

    indeed this is an exemple of a program that works just fine but not on any other comp...
    sry for the code be4 but i just copied it and apperently i missed something
    so does anyone has an idea why this wont work on another comp ??

    * well first off all when it'fails' it didnt said a thing with the other program so..
    * i copy the executable and run it on another comp i dont compile it on the other system
    * i use dev-c++ compiler wich is for download almost evry where
    * now i do have a full version of java wich is from my brother coz he needed to buy that
    when he went to university =>so mayb i should try with java to do the same mayb that'll works
    *+ the code u added didnt worked on any other system then where it is compiled on
    so i think ill better buy myself a good c-c++ compiler or start writing in java then ...

    dev-c++ is an excellent development enviornment. a properly written program compiled with it will most certainly run on any win32 system.

    so how about you learn how to code instead of knocking good software? on the other hand, maybe someone like you deserves java.

    *whats the use if u make a program but it wont run on any other system or computer that way u r stuck to ur own comp ...
