in some time i wanted to start off with network programming.
what language is used to program "network programs"?
i saw a book called "unix network programming", so i wondered if this book is concentrating on network programming in C?

a lot of books about this subject use C for their example code. Read a few reviews (and do a few searchs for reviews) before buying a book. If you're interested, I'd recommend this one.
