The "learn X in Y days" series of books really sucks IMO

You would be better off getting a "real" book, I recommend
"A Book On C" by pohl/kelley -- it's great for beginners/intermediate

Well... what's ideal? Learn C first and then C++ or just learn C++?? (for a 13 yr old boy )

I'm sure this has been discussed once or twice before, maybe you should try a board search to find your answer.
When all else fails, read the instructions.
If you're posting code, use code tags:
/* insert code here */
Of course it has been asked before...by me :d

There is one link on this page that had it and a whole bunch of other books but I can no longer access it but you are welcome to try it and some of the other ones. I dl the Cin 21 days(and I said it before I have no expectations of being a master of C in that little of time)I think I am only on the end of chapter 4, I work slow and I keep getting sidetracked with projects that I wanna try. It isn't a bad book but I would listen to the masters of C and C related products before listening to me .

Send me an e-mail if you want and we can talk more.

The learn c++ in 21 days by Liberty is better than the learn c in 21 days if that's what you mean.

The Liberty one is the book you've already found Ruski (http://www.soldierx.com/books/Teach%...n%2021%20Days/). I would just learn C++ so you won't get too confused. I say this not as an insult, but becuase I know first hand that learning C first isn't neccessarily going to make C++ any easier to learn.

Dude, just because the book is setup to learn C in 21 days does not mean that you have to do it in 21 days. The book just calls chapters 'days'. Compare the table of contents to other C books, they would be similar. And in the chapters they do not try to stress anything about days. If you want to learn C you could just as well as using another book.

Jesse Liberty has written a few books for SAMS publishing, including Teach Yourself C++ in 24 hours, and Teach Yourself C++ in 21 days. So the link that you have to the SAMS book, is in fact the very same book that Liberty wrote. You just won't see his name credited on that site because the free version isn't exactly legal

You can find out about more books he has written if you go to http://www.libertyassociates.com
