Can Any body help me in reading a bmp file from turbo c and displaying it ?

I know that there is a designed structure for it.

Actually My task is not exactly this .

I need to display a picture on dump terminals, i.e terminals where there is only keyboard & monitor but not cpu.

I thought of trying this first becos I don't even know about displaying a picture at all.

true dumb terminals usually don't support much in the way of graphics. Are you meaning something like an X-workstation?

Maybe you should try ASCII art instead

Dumb Terminals meant that terminals used in novell netware
where there is only monitor and keyboard and every operation is done on server side
