    USB or CAN communication in C with VN1610 VN7600 for the Automotive industry

    Good day!

    I am trying to develop a simple software to communicate over CAN. Such a software already exists, but I need to create my own version.

    The setup is like this:
    Computer -> Vector VN1610 -> CAN box - ECU.

    Normally in order to do that we select a connection channel from the Vector hardware software and then use Vector CANoe or other similar software to send information.

    Can anyone give me a hint how this is done? According to me since the VN1610 is connected to the USB there is some way to scan for this channel and send a hex code over it?

    EDIT: I have tried with a simple software to send hex code and char letters to a USB, but it does not work. I receive garbage data with no meaning.
