I am moving back to programming in C and I am interested in the Win32 API. I was wondering if it is still used much today. This might seem like a new programmer question, but actually what I mean is that so much is done with .NET now. I have also not kept up with the evolution of Windows, but I am very hesitant on moving to Windows 10. I use it, day to day, but never for anything but browsing.
Is there good use in moving Win32 apps to the new OS, or is it really close to being only useful to .NET programmers?
