I need to construct a musical frequency to musical cents sorting process. I'm envisioning "cent bins" each with a set threshold, of which there would be about 4800 or 9600 or some high number.
I could use some advice on what the best way/s would be to sort the "found fundamental frequency" into one of the bins. And also any help as to whether there would be much computational cost for a dedicated chip.
