Is there any freenode channel for cprogramming ?

Hi, trying making this post on cboard forums; but couldn't find one.
But I just with to know if Cprogramming.com has an irc channel where i could do some facetime talk. Continuosly clicking and making new posts makes me sick

If it exists what is it?

and if it does not? how is that possible which the wealth of hackers it possesses?
and is there any project in the pipeline of creating one?

    Cheers
    Nyah

    No problem.

You don't necessarily need to leave your ego at the door. The channel *can* be brutal, but if you ask a question and you've done some critical analysis of your code (zero in on that problem!) then it's probably one of the best Q&A "venues" around. Ask specific questions... not stuff like "what's the problem with this code". If you ask stuff like "what's the problem with this code" expect answers to sometimes be hostile. Create code that exhibits your problem, explain how you think it should work, explain what is unexpected (i.e. what you expected to happen and what actually happened) and you're likely to get some very informative answers.

I've visited that channel. Not recommended for newbies! You need to ask questions the right way. They are not as patient as on these forums!

A channel like ##programming on freenode is more tolerant of "newbies". ##c can be ok for newbies... once they learn how to ask a question the "right way" :-)

What about asking it the "Army way"?

On a similar note: wondering if anyone here is in a club or group that meet together to discuss programming problems or to learn?
