That depends on the individual... some do it in a couple of months, others might need years.

Nobody does it in a weekend.

What do you expect? That we tell you the average of the sum of time it took every person that learned C to learn it, specifically, to make "good" applications? Nobody can give the answer to that question. The only thing you'll get are vague predictions based on personal experience, like this one.
Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?
All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.
For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

As others have said, that depends on the programmer. I know some people who have been in the game for years, and have yet to develop a "good application".

    Personally, I learnt C shortly after learning B and shortly before learning D, E, and F. Eventually I learnt Y and Z.
Right 98% of the time, and don't care about the other 3%.

If I seem grumpy or unhelpful in reply to you, or tell you you need to demonstrate more effort before you can expect help, it is likely you deserve it. Suck it up, Buttercup, and read this, this, and this before posting again.

Maybe true, but my grammar surpasses yours.
