    Windows from C?

    Is Windows OS really was developed using the C language ?
    Are there any proofs of this ?

    I really don't know how they can hard-code all these cool 3d windows using C.

    Windows was written with a combination of C, C++, VB for most of the "cool 3d windows", and Assembler.

    If I am correct, the Windows API is written in C. So yes, it is possible to do that stuff in C.
