    Talking C compiler

    I am a newby,and i need some help. does anyone have any suggestions for a safe/free c compiler to download? I need a lot of practice writing and learning C. i would appriciate any suggestions. Please feal free to provide me with any other valuable information that i would need in my journey into programming.

    Being able to use search features on forums is a good thing to learn. Developing the practice of looking at the first page in the forum you are posting in is yet another excellent practice.
