    question

    i have found c code in dos that reboots the system. can anyone tell me how can i shut down it also?

    Look, you complete prat!! what is the point in shutting your system down in C!, it is most likely unstable (well, written by you anyway) and could cause damage to your system. Why re-invent the wheel. Your objective should be to keep your system up and running for as long as possible without crashing. That is a challenge, that is sensible. U BURK!

    you don't know what i am talking about and it can cause damage to the system. i have tried th c code for rebooting he system and it worked fine. if you don't know say so but don't write irrelevant stuff. ok?

    Blek on everyone that flames.......and I even know of a really simple certain code in C to erase a complete disk drive.....but that's really stupid to do

    You could probably use some interrupt in assembly ; )
