I've more or less been here for 12 or so years. They switched software about 10 years ago.

    Quzah.
Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

We told you to use CODE tags, that guy gave you specific instructions on how to use CODE tags - and you just pasted your code without them. So Q decided to pwn you: since you didn't use CODE tags, we're not going to help you with your code. You didn't listen to us, so why should we listen to you?

    1) For your problems in the future, start your own thread, unless your problem is the SAME as the existing thread.

    2) A MUCH better free compiler is available. It's Pelles C, and it's WAY more up to date, allowing larger (much larger) programs to run, and has access to Windows API, etc.

I've used Borland Turbo C for two decades, but Pelles C is WAY better. This is the Pelles C home page (click on download and choose 32 bit Windows x86. It's a regular Windows program, with a nice IDE, help files, better graphics, their own forum for expert help, and Tater and I here, for help, as well.

    smorgasbordet - Pelles C

and click on "download" on the left hand side.
Then click on Wiki for the install directions

After you see how nice Pelles C is, you won't want Borland C any more.

sorry if this is bumping a thread but my word this has to be the funniest thread ever haha! keystone cops going on here wit the crossed replies, and some quality replies, humour intended or not!
    Thought for the day:
"Are you sure your sanity chip is fully screwed in sir?" (Kryten)
FLTK: "The most fun you can have with your clothes on."

    Stroustrup:
"If I had thought of it and had some marketing sense every computer and just about any gadget would have had a little 'C++ Inside' sticker on it'"

I'm still not sure the second hijacking poster isn't a troll! It's so hard to tell these days.
