    trouble in long float

    what is long float?
    Is long float = double?

    Perhaps you misread long double?

    Yeah I know float, double, long double. But I don't know what is long float?

    There is no such thing as long float, except maybe as a compiler extension that I have never heard of, in which case you should just consult the compiler documentation.

    Yes, but only if you have a pre-ANSI compiler.
