    If you provide links to commercial DVDs where you may buy them, or links to DVDs which are free, then there should be no problem. If you link to some questionable site or a place where you can get commerical DVDs for free, then you might be in trouble.

    Like Wokzombie Im also poor at maths and wanted to teach myself, there are a number of companies that sell training products aimed at parents who want to home school.

    For maths I found the following useful, note I have no affiliation with any of these companies I have bought and used the products.

    Mathusee - This has everything you would need wok as it does pre algebra, only thing it can be a bit expensive.

    Mathtutordvd - This also has pre algebra training and is a bit cheaper but I liked the way mathusee teach.

    I would check one of those out and you should be up to speed in no time.
    Then for algebra a lot of home school parents seem to like the book Jacobs Elementary Algebra.
