    Yes, we are getting scarily close to something that could actually be used. Talking of which, a friend of mine that I lost contact with after we left school, apparently died from taking a concoction that was supposedly home-made amphetamin. So THAT does happen.

    All things are relative, but as you say, there are worse things than loosing control of root on your home machine, and I personally would not try any (recreational) drugs, whether they are from a reliable dealer or made by myself... In particular not the latter
