Why do you want to do this?

The best you can expect is to be able to change the font for all of the text in the console at once. You can't make some bold, some big, some small, etc.

humm font size & font kind..
    For example:
change the font to "Lucida Console"
    The size to: 14
(and I see I may use bold font if I'am using the font I mentioned above - so this option too)

But why? Why do you want to do this? The user can always do it themselves, and it really should be the user's setting. I wouldn't want a program messing around with my consoles' fonts.

    But if you insist . . . .

In Vista, you may be able to use: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...00(VS.85).aspx
If you're not using Vista, you'll have to use undocumented functions: http://www.catch22.net/source/files/setconsoleinfo.c

Or so I gather. I don't know anything about this, I just use Google.

(They don't seem to think it's a good idea, either.)

[I figured you might answer the question after it was asked for the third time.]

Yeah, maybe. Or maybe you should just tell your users to change the font themselves!

Seriously, from what I gather, it's either Vista-only or undocumented or suspect code. And it only works properly with certain fonts. Unless you really really want to change the font, I would just leave it alone.

You can still fiddle with font sizes and colours if you want, though.
