    the link i know allows only one-file-at-a-time download!!

    You could try to follow the instructions here:
    http://www.gnu.org/software/libc/resources.html

    Or, if you could try to just install the sources that came with your distribution, perhaps?

    that's the point: I am having various troubles both with a Debian distribution and a Fedora distribution (also due to firwall and system administrators ...). I basically installed sources of kernel 2.6.18 and sources libc6 2.3 for debian , sources for kernel 2.6.23 and sources for glibc 2.7 for fedora but cannot figure where the f. are the sources for functions like pthread_cond_wait or sem_wait and other related stuff

    You can FTP into sourceware.org to get full tars by version.
