My question is I got a string as below:
http://cboard.cprogramming.com/newth...=newthread&f=4
and I only wanted to get the follow string:
/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=4
Is it any method, idea or example to show me?

Perhaps using strrchr('/'), which would give you the position of the "last slash", and that would also be the starting point of the "arguments" of the page.
