I've been a Cingular customer now for almost 3 years and an SBC DSL subscriber for nearly the same amount of time.

Ever since at&t has gotten into the mix my Cingular service has been 100% horrible. Some times I cannot finish conversations due to dropped calls, limited service, and/or other tech problems. One specific call was dropped 5 times and every time I call my wife from work it drops the call.

My SBC DSL service was excellent until the merger. Now I barely get email during the day and most of the time I get Page Cannot Be Displayed, rarely does the home page work, and I get more spam than ever before. My DSL service now, in short, sucks.

Anyone else noticing similar changes with their services from these companies?

Meh, Cingular always dropped my calls even before the merge, as for my SBC service, I like i tbetter now.

I haven't noticed a difference in SBC DSL or telephone service since the switch.

I have them and my service has been gold. I imagine that 90% of the hardware remained as is since before the merger Perhaps you are in the unlucky 10% ;)

I have the same problem since the switch, my calls dotn alwasy go through. In fact my mom tried callign me the other day so we coudl find my phone, and it never rang even thought the phone was in the same room. It can take hours for a text message to go through too.

Personally as soon as my contract is up in a few more months Im cancelling service. I pay $150 a month and its just not worth it.
