I actually had a guy at school ask me to finish his COBOL project and write his wedding vows. He says......."Take your time on the project but the wedding is Sunday". I still laugh every time I see him.

i dont mind recieving emails asking for help if its to clear up help i have given or to further extend that help, but just mailing that is pointless - they will get a better response from the board - more people and there are better programmers than me.
