Do you know where I can find an off topic message board preferably with some female members? It should be a place with as little moderation as possible (personally I would prefer no moderators at all).

The reason I'm asking is because I keep getting banned from different forums just because I'm very open-minded - I need another place. If you know about a forum which allows discussions about everything, then please let me know.

I just don't want to be limited by rules and laws created by someone with personal 'random' definitions, it's so boring.

Hmm...let me get this straight.......you want a board where you and other likeminded trolls can go and be total #ssholes without moderation.......and while you are there you want to hopefully chat up some women.

Is it me ......or does anyone else here find this utterly hillarious?

You're just jealous.

Not really, but I think you should at least be allowed to say "**** you", or be able to talk about something negative without having some moderator closing the thread. And why the **** does it appear as stars? In other words, I'm tired of spending my time on forums made for weak people and designed for children, but there seems to be no alternatives! I'm tired of not even be allowed to say what I want. Most discussions here are totally pointless, like "poll: what's your favourite this or that?" or "who has the coolest avatar?" blablabla.. In a forum 'without' rules those weak members are removed automatically (they leave). They would still be able to post though if they wanted, it's so pathetic to use banning etc. just because otherwise the person can't win mentally.

People are so primitive. It's year 2001 and I still can't say what I want just because it sometimes happens to be a little negative. People still have the need to 'hide' things they think are scary. Even if I don't include one single personal attack in my threads, they are often closed by some closed-minded moderator anyway.

And I know it works without them, because I've been at a forum without moderators. And it often got pretty interesting (and that's not just in my opinion), and the forum gets a lot more energy. Intelligent discussions comes forth more often, as I said: it just gets more interesting when people are also allowed to talk about something 'extreme' if they want to.

But the entire world is so ****ing closed minded and scared.

LOL... trust me, never, NEVER-EVER date female members of discussion boards you cannot see in person any time you want... just a little hint *g*

As far as I know there is no board without moderation... there will always be the webmaster. If he is sane, he will employ moderators. But you might try doing a google search. But honestly, would you enjoy a board of flaming loosers that can't behave on other boards ?

Oh, but you can. We have the freedom of speech. It's just that this is a private place and we don't have to accept it. If I stood in your room chanting christmas carols you would have me removed as well, wouldn't you ?

Why do you think I asked? I can't find any alternatives. This place among others are better than nothing.

I don't care about "the freedom of speech" because the fact is: I'm not free to say what I want 'anywhere' in this society. No matter if it's private or not - this is generally the truth.

So basically you are asking for an XXX chatroom? Yahoo probably has lots of those...

Fordy:

I don't need that sort of advice. It's 'obvious' that a search on google is: unsuccessful. But they 'do' exist. Of course, I never really thought you people could help me find one.

DavidP:

No, I'm not looking for a chat-room.

I agree. But the fact of the matter is that these forums are open to all people and the purpose of moderation is to make sure that most people will find this an acceptable and pleasant place to learn.

Series; Though i tire of your defeatist attitude you do have a tendancy to say some things that i dont see anyone else having the guts to say. Quite honestly i think that you have some redeaming traits. This being one of them.

I have never (that i can recall) closed or deleted a post that didn't either have offensive language or containing personal attacks. I enjoy seeing alternate views. I dont always agree with them but thats irrelevant. I've never on any occasion deleted anything i found personally offensive. My personal feelings or opinions aren't relevant to the moderation of this forum.

**** lets see if this works.

Intlelegent conversation don't require curse words. Second if you want a chatroom with out moderators make your own. If your looking for females find a clothing forum or something, that should be mostly females.

Series has acted like a perfect gentleman when he's posted
at flashdaddee. He's a model citizen when he's with us. We love
and cherish him.

And no I haven't been smoking anything and I wouldn't give you
any even if I were.

Considering he's only ever made 2 posts at FD's rick, I find it hard to believe he is a changed man. Yes sometimes, if you try really hard, you can see his point and he does make sense. Too often though, he resorts to abusing people that he doesn't agree with, acting with impatience, and extreme rudeness. What a waste of his life to be such an arsehole all the time. I guess it is easier to make people hate you than to make them like you, he has clearly chosen the less challenging way to live life.

I'm far too lazy to go through all the posts and moderate. If you wish, Series, I will. Though I can understand your feelings and oppinions, I have to remind almost all of you: The no-namecalling policy concerns everyone. Be polite. If you don't have something valueable to say, say nothing.

There you go! Don't abuse series, and he won't abuse you.
And if he still "abuses" you, still you shouldn't abuse him
back.

First of all, you people are too 'nice', you're supposed to be evil.

This curse called life is about fighting and destroying each other, it's only when we don't agree we are able to learn and exchange ideas. And the structure of this world forces us to advance and to learn, there is nothing else.

So what do I say now? Well there is nothing to say. :( End of discussion.

Series X, the semicolon is a beautiful thing; you might want to use it. Give it a shot - it might increase your overall happiness. Your writing will not only sound better, but it will make sense. You can play the real programmer. You'll have a sense of pride and accomplishment. You can smile a subtle smile at those inferiors who do not, in fact, know the magic of the big dot over that ugly out of place comma. If you wish, you can ever pretend your writing has that power programs have, and that when we read your eloquent demands for freedom of speech we will all run rapidly to fulfill your every wish, and line by line no less.

This is cprogramming.com where people come to learn about and discuss C/C++ and other programming topics. I'm just thankful that there is a general discussion area where we can all take a break from the not always so wonderful world of code. This is cprogramming.com not anythinggoes.com or chatallyouwant.com or wearetoostupidtohavemoderators.com.

It is my personal opinion that the mods have done an excellent job here on this board. Leave the mods and their decisions up to the webmaster and them. It is not your job, Series, to do otherwise, nor is it mine.

So if you want a place to chat with women, go to a chat room - but if it involves women you can bet a million bucks that it is moderated and rightly so. America is about rights but not when they infringe upon the rights of another. Abusing others verbally on a board dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and understanding of a complex, powerful computer language is in my opinion infringing upon the rights of everyone here. Everyone has the right to post what they want - but the moderators have the right to remove said posts as well. If you take that right away from them then you have violated free speech.
There is no excuse for abuse. If you have to put others down to make yourself feel better then you have some issues.

Speaking of issues:
Series you seem to have several issues and you fly the free speech flag so often that I think you have forgotten what it means and thus have become the chief abuser of it. If you cannot handle moderators, who are very open and very capable of doing their job, then you also have some serious authority issues. It is not about doing what you want, when you want, how you want. It is about having some common decency, respect, and becoming a helpful positive addition to this board.

You could become a great member of this board but as in everything in life - you must abide by the rules. Free speech has nothing to do with totally disregarding the rules of a community whether it be a programming board, town, city, council, workplace, etc.

Now off to more important stuff..............like C programming.:)

Unfortunately, said sayings are becoming a broken record. Hows that for a sentence?

Series has been told this many times. Many people have written novels to tell him to be nice, not kill himself, have hope, obey the rules, drive carefully, watch out the sky is falling, ... ok I am just being silly now.

It doesn't help. It fuels the fire and gives him more to talk about. Other than this post, I have completely stopped posting to him or about him. I still will not post to him.

These remarks are third party. When I posted a while back that everybody shoud just ignore him, I was serious.

The problem is, in reality, that many of you like to indulge in disputes with him. This keeps him going, and gives you some controversy to write about.

I do not think that Series is the sucker... he is the spider... you are the fly.

Cool. I've been meaning to post some of his mp3's that I have,
but I've been busy with other stuff. Have to remember to do that. I have the one where he calls England a socialist effing

over at youknowwho.com. Maybe I'll look it up. Have you seen it?

Wow. Lot of stuff there. That's not the place I was thinking of, though. I think Bassy posrted the link. It had Hicks, and then it had a short film of some comedian who bashes a heckler over
the head with his guitar. I remember hearing some voice from the
audience saying, "That was unecessary, man!" :D
