argX! Okay...........my HD had 300 MB. The next day it has 200 MB. The next day it had 100 MB. I never installed anything. The next day it had 85 MB. So I deleted one of my 2 games i have on my comp. The comp goes up to 275 MB. The next day it is down to 240 MB. The next day it is down to 188 MB. I never installed anything.

WHY!??!??!?!?!??! dang Windows.......and NO ITS NOT THE SWAP FILE.

The next time that happens, get your disk size by doing a 'dir' in a console. Se if it corresponds to your erroneous readings.

Maybe it is your swap file. :D:D j/k

Heh. If your browser cache is set to allow 235+ MB then i think you've got other problems.

This is a good idea. The dir command never lies! :) Likely as not its the stupid MS mem checking software. Its crap.

try doing ScanDisk, it fixes the free space report when it is wrong.

try chkdsk for more accurate results
