I would like to be able to change my title, what happened to that feature? It seems to have disappeared.

I like your avatar.....

You'll be flying the flag to the end huh?

>>I would like to be able to change my title, what happened to that feature? It seems to have disappeared.

Well it looks like I will be "Tekken Master" from now on....

Um... I just changed mine to "the cheez man" and it worked... (then I switched it back)

I was still thinking of one. Does this mean I'm stuck :(.

My option to change has dissapeared. Maybe you can do it because you're a mod .

I also appear to be stuck as what I was, looks like since I have no chance for parole then I'll have to form an escape committee

nope mines disabled too... and it really needs changing too.

08-31-2001, 01:18 PM
If you change it once it will lock you in and not allow you to change it again. Unless your a mod or admin of course. I'm still thinking of a good one for me...

08-31-2001, 01:38 PM
um, no. wrong-o! I had mine as something stupid like "CEO/Cprogramming.com" first, andafewdays after I, I changed it again. The feature seems to have been blocked.

Well that's how it works on another VB I goto.

What happened to this feature? What the hell is going on?

08-31-2001, 05:06 PM
The feature is still enabled, but the number of posts required to change your title has been increased because it was previously at a trivial level, which made it much less interesting than if it required reaching a large post level.

08-31-2001, 05:47 PM
What, deans at over 350 and he cant change it??

How many do we need??

Is this going to start off hundereds of useless threads to reach the required number of posts??

08-31-2001, 05:56 PM
great, another "reason" for:

fortunately for me I don't mind my title so much.

08-31-2001, 07:57 PM
*sigh* so we need > 350 to change our titles...great.

08-31-2001, 07:59 PM
I have more than 350 posts and the option is not available yet. Maybe it is 400.

08-31-2001, 10:06 PM
it's not that important is it? maybe so...

oh, and fordy, we'll be sure to delete any threads or posts of that sort... in fact, the old post of that sort was deleted... and yes, confirmation, it is available to the mods. (ken, now, you weren't even going to change it, why is it then so important...?) i was looking at the who's online, and i saw the webmaster replying before dean's post ^ for a spell, but i guess s/he rethought it and is thinking about it now...

i hope this clarifies some of the concern...

You moderators... nevermind...

Eh, it's just so aggravating.

08-31-2001, 10:29 PM
You moderators... nevermind...

what do you mean to say static? you shoud if it's a concern... else nevermind...

If anybody has a serious problem with his or her title and hasn't reached the threshold for resetting it, that person can email me and I can set the title. This is not an invitation for everybody to ask for custom titles before reaching the threshold (obviously). It should be something to look forward to, to add some fun to posting and reaching new post count levels. For the record, moderators can always change their titles.

I don't know what you just said but I like it when you make long posts. Holly are you scary! Anyway, my title can stand untill I reach the 1000 posts? I just wanted to know why that feature disappeared.

09-01-2001, 11:21 AM
Omigosh! The first time I ever laughed at one of Dean's posts!!

so anyway...I guess mine can stand 'til whenever, but will you at least tell us what the count we have to get up to is?

09-01-2001, 12:04 PM
You need to get between 400 and 500 posts before you can change your title.

09-01-2001, 12:57 PM
Both of you guys are close to that:D
