has anyone tried running psDoom yet? i think ill give it run when i get home from work.

just in case anyone is curious, i got it running. finding doom1.wad was a bit of a pain, if anyone needs it let me know and i can send you the file or try and find the link where i got it again.

well, i started up about 10 emacs instances to slaughter, it was great fun. i ended up accidentally killing the psdoom process itself :p probably good that i did that before accidentally slaughtering my X server :)

so you play it as root ?
ever killed init (pid 1) ?

i'm definetly gonna give this a try as soon as i install mplayer on my new gentoo box :cool:
