The eye doctor, that is. Maybe some of you remember this (http://cboard.cprogramming.com/showthread.php?t=43500&highlight=glasses) thread (gasp! a poll!)

Anyways I finally went in to get my eyes checked, and I'm getting glasses pretty soon. Thought about contacts, but at the moment I'm going to just use glasses (since I only need them for a couple things)

Might be a bit hard to get used too...

Edit: Is it optometrist or opthalmalogist (sp)? I can't keep the two straight...

optometrist...and welcome to the club  Welcome! :)

I don't really need to wear contacts, but I find it easier than glasses. It's easier for me to put them in the morning, not have to worry about them for the day, and take them out at night. And also not have to worry about a loss of peripheral vision ;)

and its spelled, ophthalmologist.
