I was looking at a list of tutorials today and came across one that looked as far as I can see identical to the ones on this site... it even had:

Hint: Recursively find the factorial of the smaller numbers first, ie, it takes a number, finds the factorial of the previous number, and multiplies the number times that factorial...have fun, email me at webmaster@cprogramming.com if you get it.

in it!

the link is:

maybe they are allowed to use the tutorials but i wasnt sure, so i thought you should know :)

Thank you for the heads up. I will contact tutorialbox.com about this.

Aside from the fact that it was probably illegal for them to steal those tutorials, at least we have the pride of knowing people like the tutorials on the page enough that they actually would steal them. :)

Indeed, DavidP; they are distributing copyrighted material without permission of the author, and the author is readily available for contact.

You might be surprised by some of the individuals and companies that have taken the tutorials and other content for their own ends. Some of them ask; that's fine, I usually suggest they link to the site to receive the benefits of updates, but if they want to host a copy, I can understand that, and they just need to follow a few requirements (http://www.cprogramming.com/use.html). Usually, when I find someone who hasn't asked, I send an email requesting that they update their site to correspond to the requirements. Generally, people are quite willing to do so.
