Today, I have finished my military service.
http://cboard.cprogramming.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32689
That's the thread i wrote when I still had no idea what I was going to live though.

I feel great, it has been 14 long months, but I've learned a lot. If you want to see pictures from my service in the forests of Sweden, you can go to the following page:
Pictures (http://www.strandmark.com/foto/lumpen/)
Unfortunately, it's written in Swedish.

2nd Lt. Strandmark is now a civilian again. Sweet. :D

Well I hope you grew from your time like I did from mine.

Only 15 months? I spend over 6 months in training when I went in :)

So what field did they put you in?

Edit: Wow you guys need to update your camo pattern :)

Alright, so I have to ask. Why the whole section of your photo album devoted to mostly-naked military guys?

Not that I'm complaining, it's just that a lot of it looks like the beginning to really bad gay swedish military porn.

Just kidding. Cool that you're done with it, though.

i actually remember that thread, and I stand by what i said in it:

and get laid a lot too!!! That's kinda neat that on one hand you are a programmer on the other a gun toting Swedish version of GI Joe! All the other geeks will tremble in your presence!

you obviously got laid a lot judging the picturds of half naked military swedish guys, although not what i hoped for you :)

what one are you? Oh yeah, I guess I shouldn't be making fun of you because you can kill me, doh

Hey, I wasn't in the navy, at least. :)
The military in Sweden isn't as well respected as in USA, so if you want to score you shouldn't tell that you are doing military service. In the US, it's easier for military guys, or so I've heard at least.

Here's a picture of me

Notice the Coca-cola, hehe :)

The pages should work in Mozilla now. There's a bug in the software that generates the pages having to to with \ and / in path names.

you look scary. I swear that same rifle is in counter strike. How hard was the training?
