What is the best c++ compiler. im new to all this programming, but I want an easy to set up one and a good one. Can someone tell me a good one and where i can get it

First you really should tell us what OS you are on. If linux g++, but I think you are on windows. So I actually don't know what to recommend. I have never used any of them, but I hear alot about devc++ maybe that is good

I never even knew the FAQ link was at the bottom of the page. Maybe if it was moved to the top, in bold centered, maybe a slightly larger font, people would use it more?

Yeah, and maybe if it was flashing and scrolled across the screen with a fanfare mp3 that said "READ THE FAQ", people would use it.

No, they'd still probably ignore it.
