We have to look at this mathematically.
First:
doubleanti can be represented as anti * 2

Second:
earlier in this thread DA stated himself that doubleanti == anti^2

Now the only way for ( anti * 2 ) == ( anti^2 )
is for anti == 2, 0

We can assume anti exists, thus anti != 0
Therefore anti == 2

We can't argue with math folks. Doubleanti is two people, or 'dual gendered' (is that a word,? If it isn't, it should be). Seing as hermaphrodites are rare, I'm going with the former.
Doubleanti is in fact, two anties of opposite gender.

A few days back, in a thread entitled "Mods" the question was asked ...who are the mods? DA's response

kermi3, lightatdawn, govtcheez, salem, adrianxw, nv... and, of course... doubleanti... [she's the best! ]

That should anwser it . ..unless one of the other mods is female....then that would just make this another smoke screen:D

Yes but if were assuming that Da's two people that use the same name than mabe it was the her talking and not a he  or mabe it was a plan to make us think female when he really is a male:confused: jeesh now I'm confused! guess we'll never know:p

doubleanti,

you have some serious issues, and crave for attention. For the benefit of everyone here and yourself, get them worked out...

you need to stop spouting random and unproven information.

go get a life, and then register. Or you can reveal that you are in fact Pirate Captain (hehe).

The answer is so obvious! Doubleanti's avatar has a picture of a male, then a female. That means that she is part both. Since the male comes first, she has a penis, but probable no testacles. A moustache(sp?) maybe. She has ovaries, long hair, and has one of those faces where you can't tell if it is a boy or a girl. HA! The truth is out! And if anyone wants to send me \$10 I'll give out it's (doubleanti's) home address too :).

I think that you must be a male... the reasons being

1. You keep asking this question, thus you are egomaniacal (if there is such a word) and you dont find many women like this.
:p

2. You know a lot of c/c++ and genuinely code.

We already have Prelude and it would be too much of a coincidence that we have to females with really amazing knowledge of c/c++ at one place.

3. You know DOS programming and can hold a conversation with Bubba, that definately proves you are a male.
:D

so i voted for male. and if the above reasons are false then this posted by nv must be true :)

Oww, come on DA, we all know you are some martian slime puddle...

Are there any singleanti or multiantis on your planet, too ?

dbaryl
05-15-2002, 12:46 PM
Actually, that's exactly what I thought.... at first. Later, I've come to the conclusion that I should not worry my little head about this and let it be.

So, come on now, what is it then? :D

>you dont find many women

[as if a guy] hehe... no crazy women? you are the luckiest guy in the world having not met one yet... [/end guy staunch]

>doubleanti,

you have some serious issues, and crave for attention. For the benefit of everyone here and yourself, get them worked out...<

y'know what, you are absolutely right... in fact, upon reading it, i must say it's about time someone said that... i find it neat that aran stood up for me so promptly, but in and of itself you are perfectly correct... so can you reveal yourself so we can iron this out?

and aran, don't be so harsh, even in my name... :)

tim, what is the postage rate to mars this time of year?

and good points ihsir, kudos on the bubba comment as well as for flattering me with my 'knowledge' of the language... even comparing me to the likes of prelude is such a great compliment [and underserved to be truthful... she is really far out... programming wise least i know...]

females are in no ways lesser than males!! Then why do women have do have different sports leagues then men? They are physically inferior. That's why today we live in a male dominated society.

*Michelle*
05-15-2002, 07:04 PM
EXCUSÉ MOI, tim??? You little sexist! You...! Who says it's a male-dominated society? Imagine you guys living without women in this world. NOT A GOOD THOUGHT! And so what if we "may be" physically inferior? We are obviously mentally superior. We don't just think about food, tv and sex! :p And I know that's not true for many males, but for you, probably!!

God, all the Tims I know are .....! Is it a coincidence or what?

women tend to think in different ways.....they are less interested in science, technology, computers, machines, programming etc etc. they are more interested in 'emotional' things
most women i know can't even program a video m/c or wire a plug, just not interested at all.

of course there are always exceptions.
but this is why most scientists, motor mechanics, engineers, computer experts, entrepenuers, programmers, physics experts, mathmaticians are men...and always will be....thats why most science fiction fans are men etc etc

this is not sexist, its fact. why don't people just accept the differences between the sexes....

this isn't intelligence however, women are equally as intelligent, as scientifically proven. just tend to think different.

[and don't start listing all the great women scientists, engineers etc, i'm talking about the general trend, theres always exceptions]

Aran

our incognito friend here has good points.

Just because we are saying that women aren't perfect doesn't mean that we are sexist. This is truth, not chauvanism.

doubleanti
05-15-2002, 11:28 PM

i agree with michelle, tho perhaps you misunderstand her... this is a male dominated society, right? let's not tell any women, including myself, to 'face the reality'... you are asking for an ass-chewing... okay? ahem, to quote alanis morisette... "i recommend sticking your foot in your mouth at anytime"... :)

and this thread is about my gender, not which is better! in fact, this is one of the reasons i choose to keep my gender anonymous... because you all are biased vulture motha's! grrrr....

yet another man v. woman (or is it woman v. man? oh, that's a topic in itself) thread

here's my view:
1) men are physically stronger for the most part
2) strength isn't much of an issue on a programming board.
3) the differences between the sexes lies in sexual reproduction. the rest derives from that.
4) men are usually more aggressive, at least in our society

i can't speak for women not being one myself. suffice to say:
we live in a male-dominated society because we grew up in a male-dominated society. however, enough men and women like the current arraingement that it isn't changed.

I agree, most men give us all a bad rap, and i do hate that. But you must trust that we are not all out againsed you. I respect people who deserve respect, heh, sometimes i guess you just have to take a chance sometimes..

goddamn, i say something sensible for a change, and i 'popped' out (ooh err missus!!). that was me..
i'm reading a good book 'why men don't iron'.....a jokey title but a serious scientific book. the basic point is that men and women are different, and thats what makes it fun. society is wanting men to be more like women and visa versa. the other main point is that stating things like i did above, IS NOT sexism/chauvanism, its just a scientific FACT. most women think differently to most men.
when you say this you are always accused of sexism, so society is trying to deny it. lots of interesting things in the book...
[and b4 you start, its also a scientific fact that women and men have the same IQ]

wow, what a topic this is...

what he wants his gender to be in cprogramming.com, I don't know. In reality, I don't know how he defines male and female but by definiton he is male. Or I can be wrong.

doubleanti
05-16-2002, 08:00 PM
by he were you referring to me? if so then how do we know that you know that i'm a he? by he meant you actually all called by he? because then all those of 'he' are in fact of the gender indicated by he. and by which way forget you see any discussion of the ramifications of my knowledge of she and he since they agree with ye, the same they be...

thank ye for topiking back the thread in which we bein' be...

>>you men are ignorant!!
SEXIST!!!!

>>that stating things like i did above, IS NOT sexism/chauvanism, its just a scientific FACT.
Nope, it's sexism. By saying black people have dark skin I am a racist. Racism/sexism aren't necessarily a bad thing. If I saw women are stupid, that's bad sexism. If I say women have different sexual organs than men, I am being sexist, because I am stating what I believe to be a fact for an entire gender.

Anyway, doubleanti you have me stumped. You are defending the women's arguement. So either you are either a sensitive male or a female. Seeing how rare it is to find a sensitive male, I'm leaning toward female. Man I'm curious now. Just tell us!
