EDIT: my statement is correct though, you might not have your girlfriends in under a year, but I'll still have peanut butter. and on top of that it'll be the same brand. I know how to keep a relationship.

As you dig deeper and deeper into the world of technology and programming, you will look back on your life and understand why. . .

(poor unfortunate souls) :D

Fahrenheit

So, basically you are saying that everyone that understands computers is a total loser in real life. Gotcha.

DDPhoenix
06-29-2003, 04:43 PM
Nah, not at all. You're only a loser if you think you are. There's nothing wrong with people being single, unless they don't want to be. But for you guys that want girlfriends and regret not having one, why not go out there and start giving the girls some more attention? Surely you can have more than one interest in your life!

Personally, I don't see what the big deal about a girlfriend is. All
they do is make you buy them stuff, and chances are they're going
to leave you as soon as they find someone better (i.e. richer),
anyway. Plus, they make you change. They take away all your
toys and tell you to grow up. And don't even get me started on
the movies you have to watch... With the exception of Titanic,
the movies are really, really bad.

And the music! Argh! Not only do girls like terrible movies, but
their taste in music is ten times worse. It's because of women
that pop exists. Ladies can be brainwashed so easily, it's actually
scary. Get a catchy melody, technify it, and pretty face, and you
can make them do anything you want.

The concept of "Girlfriends" (or "Boyfriends") is here for no other
reason than bragging purposes; to show other people that
you're such a good person, someone is actually willing to spend
their free time with you. That's all...

Nevermind, maybe it's just that living life as a playa has left me
incapable of love.

On a related topic, have you ever seen 'The Hours'? I liked it, even though it's probably a chick flick.

Mmm. I wouldn't say this is true at least half the time. On the topic of buying them stuff, there are many girls who are adamant about not letting their boyfriends pay for anything (for them). And about leaving for a richer guy, those women (or men) are called gold-diggers, and not all men and women are like that.

Pish. Several of my female friends are perfectly capable of coexisting with the video gaming habits of their boyfriends, as long as it doesn't occupy them 24/7. Also, I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic about Titanic. . . I, for one, thought it was a lousy excuse for a movie.

"Make them do anything you want?" It's much easier for guys: take a box, give it something vaguely resembling boobs and a nice butt, make it jiggle, and then watch them go goo-goo eyed.

As for music tastes, what do you mean by "pop"? If Britney Spears-esque "music" is "female-oriented", than there was/is equally crappy "male-oriented" music on the pop scene.

Girls will leave guys for a guy with any better features. Namely: cash, muscles, social status and their car. Or if you beat them up too much or ignore them, like tamagotchis, they run away.

Girlfriends are a waste of time in modern society. If you're a rock star, then fine, but otherwise, casual sex is the only way to go.

Sigh. Poor little man. Thanks, zornthro, for keeping it real.

Yeah, there are plenty of worthless girls, but there's an equal number of worthless guys who do the same. Stereotyping just perpetuates the problem and makes it worse for yourself.

Hee hee c'mon Brian...they are just like blokes when it comes down to it.......

They want one thing and want it often and good!

They will not leave (opposite to you) a fat, poor, banger driving thin guy if they get it good last thing at night.

Actually we held that pose for about 30 seconds tops and the pain i felt was excrutiating (sp). I have several severe knee-injuries to my name, and it sucked balls.

As for titanic, it would have been much, much, funnier had they been standing on the front like idiots WHEN they hit the iceberg :D

Actually, there are more worthless guys than girls; at least girls
have the inherent knowledge of how to cook a pancake going for
them...

I don't like boys, either. There are so many things wrong with them,
I wouldn't even know where to start (but it'd probably be somewhere
around their unhealthy obsession with sports. Jeez, how can
anybody get so worked up over watching people throw balls.)

Titanic is the best movie ever. I can't believe the most successful
movie of all time suddenly has so many detracters. You know what
that says? It says you're groupie movie fans. You like a movie when
it's popular, but after the trend has died, so has your interest.
I doubt any of you expressed the same anti-Titanic opinions 6
years ago. The simple fact is, it's the greatest movie ever put
to film.

LOL

Girls are awesome! They're fun to be with, do stupid things that are funny, share experiences, etc. Having a girlfriend is great; you really have to have had one to know. You and your gf are like buds, close together everywhere, you talk alot, and you know, get little "something-somethings" lol :). The only girls I hate are those queen-$$$$$es who think they're everything great and that just act like brats. These are few and far in between so no need to worry. If you choose your friends right, you're bound to find some girls that you can relate to. Girls are no different to boys, they are human beings and love being carresed.

You have to admit, girls look goddamn awesome. If you can't say that, then do society a favor and go dig a hole and jump in. Asap. :D

Sports are so fun, you get an adrenaline rush when you're out playing trying to be your best. They're much better than programming anyday. This is how programming fits according to me: Roller Hockey > Soccer > Programming > Swimming

Ethic, you are just really negative about everything. You remind me of Holden in this book we read at school, Catcher in the Rye. ;)

A perfect couple (RoD and his girlfiend)!!!

Girls aren't forced to share our interests and we aren't forced to share their interests. We have just to accept each other and not laugh at his / her interests!!!!
