I actually clicked on the Google search for Windows open source link provided by Govtcheez in a nearby thread, and found this:-

If I remember it right Windows 2000 had about 2-3 millions of C+Asm code. It would take a l o n g time to at least browse through it. :)

WOW!!! I think I made a small mistake!

29 Million lines of code mainly written in C++ !!!!???? That's nuts. :) No wounder thay found so many bugs.
