my favorite typo has to be the word:
Definitely (spelled correctly here)

it seems like everyone spells it differently.
Whats your favorite?

"ambiguity"
"ambiguous" (had to look it up, I always spelling this word)

For swedes "interesting" and "address" can be hard.

It's quite funny to search for misspelled words on google and see how many hits you get.

"definitly" yields 80k hits.

Documents. I cannot spell this word (I spelled it wrong the first time I typed it in here).

I'm about ready to create a symlink to my ~/Documents directory called Docuemnts (Which is always how I misspell it)

successfully... I can spell it now, but for a while I used to always forget a 'c' or an 's' or an 'l' :p

teh, definitely teh. It's also the most annoying to me when I'm typing.

Waldo, I saw in your sig that you have a Stone quote from 104.9. I live in Belvidere, IL and listen to 104.9 all the time. My fave is whenever Stone tries to say "Nir-Vah-Nah" but says "Nir-Var-Nah."

teh. And the total inability of some to differentiate between their/there/they're.

I'm not sure I consistantly make the same mistake, but I'm well aware the occasional strange one gets out there.

self referanced.

All of the "ie"/"ei" words like:

Conceive
Caffeine
Believe
Relieve

I can't stand those...

> I'm not sure I consistantly make the same mistake,

You mean "consistently"? :D

I do "teh" all the time - I also frequently add ".xom" instead of ".com" to web addresses.

I have never, in my entire life of typing on the QWERTY keyboard, typed "teh"... I've always attributed it to chubby fingers, but I guess it's not.... now I don't know what to think

Assassination.

I remember way back in high school, we had to proofread an essay in English class. Remember, it's spelled with 2 ass's. Then my friend and I stumbled on the phrase assination and cracked up hysterically while everyone was staring at us.

Ok, phew. :( I don't want no feelings hurt here.

I always want to mispell receive and conceive(sp). SEE! I'm unsure. Thank god for Microsoft Word. Yet, miscellaneous and instantaneous, are not a problem for me. I supposed I just need to REMEMBER...I before E except after C. Maybe that slippery V throws it all off. Yeah...that's it!

license is the only word I can never remember how to spell. I looked it up on dictionary.com and entered liscense to search for it.
