If you had to live, locked in a room, with nothing but an infinate supply of food, water and a single computer, what would the computer be?

something that will never need updates (hence, not windows). I chose mac.

the main problem with choosing windows is that we need to be able to reinstall periodically. If that's an option I have no problem with that. Otherwise I would need to go with linux.

atari 2600 sounds appealing :D

I have to say I could not imagine living the rest of my life locked in a room, with an unlimited supply of food (must be a pretty big room), and a computer. Such a life, still very unfulfilling, would improve with human companionship, preferably of the opposite sex. (Sorry, I had to analyze it. :p ) Other than that, I'd go with some high, high end supercomputer so that it does not become obsolete in the next eighty or so years (not that that would be matter if I had no communication with the outside world).

Look whos coming to dinner!

You need to go back to when everyone used to like comps.

You would need a speccy 48k, WITH rubber keyboard-none of the amstrad later ones.

All the games were original and playable to death.

Speccy, a mute girl, unlimited stella and food. Hmmmmm

I'd go for a 486-33 with Ultima Underworld.

I think the idea on taking a woman is dangerous - what if she feels neglected and destroys the computer?

you could probably dig out some licorice ribbons from your unlimited food supply and tie her up with them.

Why does she need to be smart? I'll take her sexy! Big boobs would do me good just as long as they aren't silicone. really any size, it wouldn't matter just as long as she's mute.

HE! HE! HE!

A nice butt too!

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Apart from having some fun with a girl, which is all good, there's a time where you'd like to have intelligent conversation with her, and you don't want to be looking into a empty headed girl ;)

Apart from that, intelligent women can come up with some more creative idea's ;)

I would need an infinite supply of new games.
