Nah! that's poppycock. Those guys are losers... I mean, they got caught didn't they? What's the purpose of being alien if you get caught? I tell you. None. You stop being an alien and start being a stupid moron on a wet suit. Tsk, tsk...
And to think we had hopes for your race... *sigh*...

What? You didn't know? Yeah. Those aliens are in fact Texan trailer park dwellers on wet suits. We gave them some training. The idea was to see if humans would be good candidates to pursue our work. But nah! They were all caught. There's area 51, there's Dulce Undergrounds, there's Jerry Springer show. Oh well...

What really ........ed me of about all this (we aliens don't ........, and we certainly don't ........ off the crapper. But you get the point) was that we implanted another heart on some specimens. Just to make it more believable. And when your scientists discover those two hearts they come forward and get amazed at that and start comparing us to these south-whatever worms that also have two hearts... I mean... C'mon!... Worms!! For crying out loud! Such stupidity only makes me wonder why you humans don't have two ass holes.

Yes. I don't see how anyone could doubt their existance.
Look up at the sky on a clear night, see all the stars? (too bad if you live in a large city) Each star can possibly have planets orbiting around it. Each planet has the potential to house life.

With so many stars, so many planets, I can't help but believe other life forms.

>I want your REAL proof.. no kidding around..

I think there is life on one or more other planets in the universe. What kind of life it is, I don't know, but I think it is some primitive life, like organisms of just a few cells. But I could be totally wrong.

I cannot proof there is life on other planets. If I could, then I would be a famous man. I have not read the other thread, but I think the only way to really proof there is life on other planets is to show that life. Which is, the life should be brought to earth, or come here by itself.

Anyway, this is something which, in my opinion, cannot be proven by just theory.

commander, how exactly are you going to prove it? M Prime is not buying the picture of the Martian, i see. It is real prime, i have seen it... i swear....
it is quite real (not dangerous mind you - all it can do is erase part of your memmory). it looks almost human (out of the bad-quality picture), but it will not fool anyone anymore...
that is proof enough for me. if you want more proof, dig around. i hope you find something...

I don't see what's the fuzz with that picture. Quite of a standard picture for an alien that gets passed around as the "real thing". Grainy, filtered, bad quality... fake.

If you have that big of a head and that look like you died of sunburst on some new zealand beach and came back from the dead, I can understand your problem. Otherwise, Martian! Join the fun and lets mock us humans a little bit more.

The fact that you have the ability to make that statement proves that you exist.

Someone has calculated the odds of aliens existence to
95 million:1

>> Someone has calculated the odds of aliens existence to
95 million:1

Is this a reliable source, and if so do you recall who stated this ratio? I would like to know how he/she came up with this ratio.

Is There Extraterrestrial Life in the Universe (http://www.astro.virginia.edu/~jh8h/Foundations/drake.html)

95 million to 1 is a bull**** figure. We have no way of calculating a meaningfull figure for the probability of extra-terestrial life because there are FAR too many unknowns.

as quoted from the site

<<So who knows? But it does tend to make you want treat our planet and its unique inhabitants with some respect

Basically the author of this is intentionally leaving it open ended. It's not so much a question of is it correct or not, but more so here is one way of thinking about it, and he's even inviting his reader's to come up with their own calculation's.

Yes, the diversification of life on this planet on this planet hints at such a possibility. More proof, Our solar system is one out of many in the universe (entire), knowing this you would doubt the possibility of life somewhere out there. The real question is "the level of intellect as compared to ours."

That figure and the means to calculate is an exercise on probabilities and not even near an estimate.

Actually, the Drake formula is used to value the possibility of life (intelligent or not) in the universe, since the odds of getting 0 are null. Take in mind that you can't put 0 on any of the variables there. The simple fact that we humans exist don't allow for 0.

what if we are some experiments for advanced life forms? I mean couldn't it be possible that they left us here and are studying us.. I mean the "ADAM AND EVE" theory wouldn't explain different races/belifs and that people were on different continents...

also.. y was it that EUROPE had the most advanced technology at its time and how come the pyramids were built with such crude tools.. I mean even today this would be a hell of a challenge..

Reclaimer, is this a serious question? Are the Covenant and The Flood not enough proof?

Mario

I could never understand the fascination over the pyramids. Sure they were difficult to build. But they were not something impossible at that time.
The fact that these societies praised knowledge to almost the same extent as warfare plus the fact that a society like the egiptian society survived for a 500 years without any major war surely helped science to develop. The fact that it relied heavily on human slavery, surely helped put into practice the most ambitious projects.

Scientists... or scholers... were important people at that time. Conversely slaves were not. Without disrespecting the magnificent work on those pyramids, fact is slaves were born to work and die while working. Given the time it took to build them, entire slave generations were wasted in their making... Sometimes it could take 2 weeks before one rock could placed in the correct spot. While doing it, 100 slaves could die. With such "working dedication", i'm not surprised the pyramids came to be.

It was just a mate who told me, that's why I had no idea of who has/have calculated these odds. I can find it pretty reasonable though, with thought of all that is out there.

Clyde

As far as i'm aware (could be wrong here) most specialists in ancient egyptian history now believe the pyramids were not constructed via slave labour but were willingly built by everyday people who treated partaking in a similar way to modern religious pilgramages.

"That figure and the means to calculate is an exercise on probabilities and not even near an estimate. "

Its still BS, because they basically just make up figures. We simply do not have anywhere near enough info to calculate a meaningfull value.
