That's right folks... for those of you that didn't read my other thread... Kazaa is bundling a nice BDE trojan in their software to allow you to have the joys of being open to the world! Hip hip.... Hooooray!

See here....

The makers of kazaa officially suck at life.

Well its nice of you to make this thread elchulo2002. I found that BDE trojan on mine aswell, it's gone now. Kazaa are so lame.

>>>yes from kazaa it seems, thanks beta......

Of course... love to help.

"during the week of March 25th, KaZaA and the bundled trojan were downloaded 2.6 million times from CNet alone!"

Wow. That is a few computers.

80% of the users of KaZaA suck too, IMO.

05-29-2002, 08:29 PM
Lol... does that count for people using Kazaa lite? ;)

Yeah.. I am pretty sure they are just as likely to steal software.

I update my virus updates frequently, I was just wondering if the trojan would be detected by virus software.

You also have to remember however that some people download games from there because they are old games and can't be found anywhere else (meaning stores or something), at least that's the case with some of my friends.

That's true elchulo2002, however, I don't use KaZaA for that.
I try not to use the program at all, but after this thread, it went bye bye.

As for the downloading of titles you can no longer purchase, I just use a good, old fashion, FTP search for that.
Also, what about emulating console / arcade video games on your pc.

Let me guess,
Napster ( what happened here? )
...users "own" right?

Of course, stealing software...not like they'd do anything outrageous like get music off of it, right? That's all I use kazaa for, anyhow...

You music theif... I am a troll, and I want to make you feel bad for your terrible misbehavior. Next thing we know, you will be killing babies and women in Nam. What have you got to say about that because I want attention and will post anything controversial, whether or not it directly relates to the thread...

i.e. a post that says beware of trojans, I reply... your momma is ugly and I have proof because I have pictures of her on a date with the neighbors dog.

You are a really bad bad man... jerk.

p.s. The world is a bad place... get over it people. Where is johnc to tell us we live in a utopia when we need him?

No offense blue ( :D ) but,
In true context, this wouldn't be bad.
Some people out there need to colorfully see how bad they are.

I suppose so. Did you eat well today or take your vitamins? You meanie bad guy! ;)

The art of pointing out mistakes (http://www.realjuggalos.com/icp/high.php?id=lyrics/hallsofillusions).

ICP... not bad... like their stuff. I listened to all of the songs on the disk that had Great Melinko on it... but it was my friend's disk, so I can't remember the names of the songs or the disk. Crazy stuff tho...

05-31-2002, 07:26 AM
I like their music alot, besides "theme" remixes.
I believe I have 14 of their cds. Besides ( maybe ) Nine Inch Nails or 2 live crew, ICP probably has the most cds..ever? ( they've gotta have close to 50 as they own the record label their on ).

Anyhow, OT, and I have to go soon. :D
