mainly rock....

my fav. bands include...

acdc,metallica,iron maiden,meat loaf,pink floyd,nirvana,slayer,jimi hendrix,zz top,rainbow,black sabbath,led zepplin,deep purple,guns n roses,queen,eminem,marillion,the verve,james,the stone roses,bob marley (of course),rolling stones and many many more.

in fact about the only sort of music i dont like is the poppy boy-band/girl band sh1t. Not keen on most dance music although chemical brothers, faithless and the prodigy all have albums in my collection.Jungle and techno is all rubbish. for easy listening i love simon and garfunkel and the carpenters.

Favourite part of Bach's repertoire is Toccata and Fugue in Dm...
....Widor's toccata is amazing too for the organ and Mozarts Fantasie.

Classical is definately the best. It is relaxing and studies show it helps you to concentrate in work. It's a win-win situation.

..their most recent (Anoraknophobia) was released last year with the CD single just released.

They have not disappeared off the face of the planet!

Pendragon - if you dont mind..... roughly how old are you? Its just that I imagine Marillion fans to be a certain sterotype..... ya know cider drinkers in denim jackets (I dont mean any offence by this)...
Mind you I cant talk... I was a big metalhead as a kid and I used to look like a mess.......

Also, an anorak is a bit of a nerd for whatever interests them.

I'm 17. I hate cider(Stella, White wine and cocktails are my kind of drink), I don't wear denim jackets and rarely wear jeans. I rarely deviate from skirts and suits.

Also, an anorak is a bit of a nerd for whatever interests them.

Marillion fans are known as anoraks. I love rock and progressive rock. My favourite band being *Marillion* ( as I've said once or twice...). I do know a lot about them, (all album titles and when they were released for example which is a bit sad really:D ). It's information accumulated over some time. I don't go actively looking for it.

Yeah, well. I think you can be forgiven for that one. This board appears to be dominated by the male of the species.
