hey I just noticed that smileys show up inside of the code tags, isnt the purpose of the code tags to not have smileys.

The purpose of code tags is to make the code more readable (A hiearchical structure, which can't be done without them). But I agree that smileys should be disabled in code tags :), makes some problems especially with classes ( MyClass :: Doh --> MyClass::Doh )

if(A==1)
{
if(B==2)
{
if(C==3)
{
printf("Hahaha!!!");
}
}
}

if(A==1)
{
if(B==2)
{
if(C==3)
{
printf("Hahaha!!!");
}
}
}

You can always check "Disable Smilies in This Post" at the bottom of the page when posting a message.

And what if you want to smile outside the code tags? :)

Then use the ASCII character code for one of the :'s.

Like I can do for code tags!
